Terms of engagement

What we provide

We provide professional audit services: review of analytics applications, related tag managers and SDKs, consent-measurement behaviour, discrepancy analysis against systems you name, and a written findings file. We do not sell software licences, advertising, or a hosted analytics product. Nothing on this website is an offer to process payments online.

Scope

The scope is the written briefing we confirm before work starts: named applications, properties, journeys, and date ranges. Work outside that briefing is a new quote. We may refuse work that would require us to bypass access controls, alter production tags without your written instruction, or review systems you do not control.

Your responsibilities

• Grant lawful access to the analytics application, tag manager, and any staging site named in the briefing.
• Name a counterpart who can complete the journeys and answer configuration questions.
• Confirm that you have authority to permit the review, including personal data that may appear in debug views or extracts.
• Keep credentials you share with us under your own access policies; we do not ask for passwords by email if a time-limited invite is available.

Fees and invoices

Fees are quoted in Malaysian ringgit unless we agree otherwise. A deposit may be required to reserve on-site days. Invoices are due as stated on the invoice. Pricing on this site is informational; the binding figure is the quote you accept in writing.

Confidentiality

Findings, extracts, and access details are treated as confidential and used only to perform the audit, except where disclosure is required by Malaysian law. We may describe patterns in anonymised field notes. We do not publish client names without permission.

Independence

We do not accept placement fees from analytics vendors. Recommendations about configuration or stack fitness are our professional opinion, not a guarantee that a tool will meet a future business goal.

Limitation

An audit describes the application as observed during the engagement window. Implementations change. We are not your legal counsel, Data Protection Officer, or implementation team unless a separate contract says so. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the engagement that gave rise to the claim, except where Malaysian law does not allow that limit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Selangor have jurisdiction, without limiting any non-excludable rights you have as a consumer if the Consumer Protection Act 1999 applies to you.
